Steel braided lines vs. rubber lines

What are the advantages of steel braided brake lines?

Improved pressure point when braking, as the stainless steel mesh prevents the hoses from expanding. Steel braided brake lines do not become porous. This is not necessary with steel braided lines.

Virtually unlimited lifespan, because unlike rubber hoses, steel braided brake lines do not become porous, do not swell, and are not subject to an aging process. Conventional rubber hoses should be replaced every four years, depending on the manufacturer’s recommendation. This is not necessary with steel braided lines.

The brake fluid absorbs less water because the system is more closed overall.

Improved appearance compared to conventional rubber lines.
